I normally go with Switchfoot's "Dare You To Move" for personal "get out and change the world" motivation, but Rise Against's "Architect" fitted much better with this particular call to action.

So in Paris, starting this weekend, is the largest, most important climate conference that's been held so far. We're already locked in to a minimum of 1 degree's warming and all the fun joys that that'll bring, so we need a deal that's strong as hell in order to keep below the international target of 2 degrees. That means we need as many people as possible out from this weekend until December 12th, writing to representatives, joining protests, doing whatever it takes to make it clear that anything less than a decisive deal is not acceptable.

The recent terror attacks in Paris have meant that the big march that was supposed to descend upon the conference has been banned by police there, which makes it all the more important that they feel the pressure from home. Marches and events are happening tomorrow and Sunday, and you can find the closest one to you here.

Even though, as I've expressed, I'm still not convinced about Global Warming being our fault, I'm totally with you on this. This world is very perfectly balanced, as any with eyes can see, although whether it was balanced by a god or simply incredible chance is not important, and we are, to coin a pedestrian term, f*cking with that balance.
