Alex has a slightly more moderate view of Christianity now, having been to Lourdes, but he's still a little ignorant.
And personally, having just done an RS GCSE, I don't see how anyone could say that the Bible doesn't promote the stuff I mentioned in the comic, or atleast imply that they're good.

The new testament is alright (ethics-wise) though the old testament is a bit more dubious.

I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in there that women must be submissive to their husbands.

@Ralph - That is true, but in Christianity New Testament>Old Testament, so it's ok.

@Ed - Well, that is true, but that was written by the apostles in the letters, and not actually based on anything Jesus said, and there's a lot of evidence in Jesus' behaviour that implies he didn't necassarily agree with it.
