I know, I know, this is really late given what it starts off talking about. But I had a phone conversation with someone, who shall remain nameless, that pissed me off, because they claimed that "99% of Muslims are terrorists". I told him he was being fucking ridiculous, and he lowered it to 90%, which is still just as bad as 99%.
But of course, you can see why this happens, because everytime you see clips of the Middle East and countries with a Muslim majority on the news, they're usually shouting in anger, waving a machete, and going on about the west being evil.
And in the vast Majority of times in which Muslims feature on TV, they're shown to be the bad guys, blowing themselves up. The words "rational" and "Muslim" are rarely used in a description of someone in the media.

So yeh, this comic's me ranting a) at the guy I was on the phone to, and b) the extremist Muslims that mean that people are able to be that ignorant, and the media that shows them that way.

I blame the media circus for a lot of this crap. If it wasn't for the news, nobody...absolutely nobody, would have heard of "Pastor" Terry Jones and his Koran burning escapades. My son (who lives only a few miles from Mr. Jone's church) said that the media was interviewing anyone and everyone to try and pump up the story.

@pantstall - Thank you.

@Wade - That is true, but it was a pretty ignorant and douchey thing to do in the first place.

The guy's a scumbag of the highest order. His church "deacons" are armed! Not to mention the fact that he sells furniture on EBay and uses the church property as a warehouse for his inventory.

But to top it all off, his "vacation bible school" costs parents $500 for the summer, and all he was doing was putting them to work shipping out the furniture! Yeah...this guy's a real piece of work.

Well, that pretty much confirms the idea that he's a total douchebag.
