Part of me thinks I'm probably much closer to being an "emo" than I am to being a "hipster".

I was reading TiN before it went mainstream! ;)

I wouldn't say you're a hipster, don't hipsters like, show off the fact that everything is too mainstream, or is that just the internet taking the piss out of them? I don't know how I'd class you in the social groups, but I probably would say sorta hipster with a little bit of nerd, and a splash of emo since you always wear black.
Besides, hipsters have become too mainstream now...

Is that Faye from questionable content?

@Wade - Woah, when did TiN become mainstream?
@Newbs - That's probably a quite accurate description.
@James - lol, no! I tried to draw Maisie more accurately, but I'm not convinced I did that well...

Haha I like how I'm your Hipsterismometer X) but no Newbs, hipsters are made to look bad on the internet- we just so happen to like things that are 20 years old/new and as-of-yet unheard of, just as metalheads happen to like Metallica and dark clothes, and chavs happen to have more teeth than braincells ^_^

Well, who else can I ask?

Also, under your description, I am pretty hipster-ish. One of my favourite bands is both old, and as-of-yet unheard of. Their peak position in the UK charts was 24, and they took 10 years, 5 albums and 2 drummers to do that.
