It was basically doodling up this comic that made me wonder if I should give this comic a revamp in the art style. Clearly the art in the first three panels isn't as good as it could be, but that'd be sort of the point - to give me some room to get better. Either way, you guys are the ones that'll have to put up with it, so let me know what you think.

'Cos of course come September they'll be flying out of your head onto the screen/page. Or maybe not. Onwards and upwards (or at least, sidewards).

I like it. But I also like your regular updates... Let's hope the extra time taken won't impact on them!

Well, really it was only this first one that took noticably more time. Once I got into the swing of drawing this style, it probably doesn't take too much longer than the original one.

Mostly it looks good, the new art style works. One small thing, is your nose. It looks...wrong, somehow. I dunno how you would fix it, but you might wanna look into that.

Yeh, this was done before the post over on Facebook, so if I stick to this style, the nose probably won't get fixed properly until a couple comics after the changeover.

It would definitely seem that you're better at drawing portraits of others than of yourself.
I... don't really have strong opinions about the art style. I suppose the more realistic style does look a bit nicer, but I keep coming back for the humour and the little stories that are told.

Yeh, that's another part of my thinking about the style change - at the moment, the art leaves a lot to be desired, but doesn't give me room to get better, so I would probably be able to change the art without losing my readers since that's not what they're here for anyway.
