I'm bad at selling my artwork. And it doesn't help that the amount the people are willing to pay for it varies wildly! For a 20-page booklet of comics, it's a struggle to convince people to pay £1.50, but recently someone forked over a tenner for a quick sketch of their character! No wonder I don't know the value of my own art! Apparently, neither does anyone else! It's like throwing darts blindfolded, and the number it hits is what it's worth.
It also doesn't help that if I charge a high enough amount (ie - what professional artists might consider a reasonable amount), I feel like I'm somehow ripping off the people I'm selling to, like I'm pulling some sort of con. And I don't like feeling like I'm being unfair.
Bleh.
Art world problems.

Today's comic would've been related to the news from America, but I was an idiot and left my cintiq pen in Bristol, so here's one I made earlier.

So I guess I finally caught up to the latest TiN page, yay! ...AFTER ONLY TEN HOURS. Success! Now to go collapse until 1pm.

I really don't understand how the art world works. It's so weird, how the prices change so much. Gah. And yeah, higher then zero is a good plan.
