There's a whole bunch of cool little food shack type thingies along the main shopping street near me, and none of them take card, so it's fairly easy to walk by them and Big Issue vendors, because I literally cannot buy from them most of the time - I don't have the cash at hand.
But if I do have the cash, I very quickly no longer have the cash anymore.

I'm like that when it's my money, but when someone gives me money I tend not to care how much I spend. Pretty much the worst idea ever, but whatever.

I'm the opposite, I spend more money by card, it's like an all access pass, just numbers on a screen, it's not tangible and i don't feel like i'm losing anything :P
so even if a shop refuses to let me pay for something that's say £4 by card because it's under a fiver i'll get something else just so i can pay by card, even if i have the cash on me.
