This week in British politics, the Green Party was ruled by Ofcom to not be a major political party. They then gained 4000 members in under 48 hours to leap frog their way over UKIP and the Liberal Democrats to become the 4th largest party in the UK behind the SNP.

On the 14th, they had 41,000 members. On the 15th, 44,000. The latest number they've released today is 48,476. 7000 people in less than 72 hours. That's not a Green surge, that's a Green tsunami.

Members isn't the same as voters. We've got to get out there and vote Green.

I can't be the only one reminded of the television debates 5 years ago where the Lib Dems were suddenly new exciting and popular.
