Psst, it's clickable!

Basically, Vote For Policies is a site where they take away the party labels and just present you with policy lists for different issues, Immigration, Education, etc, and you pick the policies that you like the sound of. Kind of a blind test to see - if you voted purely on the basis of the action you support - who actually most stands for what you want to happen in this country.

I highly recommend that anyone interested and/or eligible to vote in the general election in May should have a go at this site. And I know it says a minimum of 4, but I'd say pick at least 6, just to reduce the likelihood of getting a mishmash from different parties.

It ranked mine as being:
1) Greens
2) Lib Dems
2) Labour

Which illustrates that - though it is a good site and a good idea - it has a serious limitation which is that it doesn't allow you to assess credibility. There's no point agreeing with policies that you can't trust the parties to implement - and anyone who would trust the Lib Dems should contact me for details of a great investment opportunity with a Nigerian prince.

Hey Plasma Man, I've got some money to invest. Can you send me the contact detail for your Nigerian prince so I can send him my bank details? ;)

my problem is that i've never even touched politics and have no idea what the policies even mean, they all sound the fuckin same to me. besides, even if they sounded different, i wouldn't have any clue which would be more practical or actually work in real life, and i took one of those quizzes before and none of it listed the downsides anywhere, which is just as important. so yea idk maybe its just me being stupid and out of the loop, but those sites really dont help me at all.
