If someone's talking to you, and someone interupts them, and the interupter finishes what he's saying before you can say "Sorry, this guy's talking to me", surely it's common courtesy to just say to the interuptee "sorry, i missed what you said because [name] interupted/distracted you/me, can you say that again?" or another sentence based on that. It's just being polite to the interuptee, after all, it was the interupter who was being a rude jackass and interupting, and what comes around goes around. The interupter shouldn't be a jackass about it afterwards, unless they actually are a jackass.
