So, I've been watching the new Thundercats series.
The first episode (which was double length, and so also counts as episode two) was awesome. It set up the plot, gave us the characters, and we had some epic fights, the king got knifed in the back, and there were laser guided missiles blowing shit up, and it was generally all-round awesomeness.
Then there was the next episode. Episode three is a lazy rehash of "Moby Dick", with two of the main three characters being wholly ineffectual for the whole episode, and the third going absolutely batshit insane for no apparent reason. It was trash.
Here's a quick sum up of the series so far:
Episode 1&2 - Awesome.
Episode 3 - Trash.
Episode 4 - Mediocre.
Episode 5 - Decent.
I hope this upward trend in the quality of the episodes continue.
