So, last week, we got set a bunch of animation exercises, looking to try and get naturalistic movement out of them. There was a tennis ball, a bowling ball and a balloon.
Turns out my tennis ball was too cartoony, my bowling ball gained too much momentum on the last step, and my balloon was 50 shades of wrong.
Luckily, I've been able to fix the tennis ball and bowling ball without having to do a major do-over. I'm on my third attempt at the balloon now. Which is particularly frustrating, seeing as that's the one that takes the most frames, so every time I get it wrong, that's 40-50 sheets of paper being dumped in the recycle bin. It's a little demotivating, really.

Well, atleast I nailed the pendulum we got set this week in one go!

Must be a very picky teacher, because I really didn't see anything wrong with the balloon.
