So by the looks of it, I'm still gonna be ok to vote on May 22nd, because I don't need my pollcard so long as I'm registered somewhere here in Bristol - I'm just gonna have to go back to the same polling station I went to during the last local elections.
I'm just hoping that being registered for local elections also means I'm registered for the European ones, else I've been harping on about why people should vote Green and shouldn't vote UKIP on Facebook for the last two weeks for nothing! And that's just kind of embarrassing.
So yeh, if you're in Britain, don't feel that strongly about the Euro elections, and are registered to vote, on May 22nd vote Green just in case I can't! It's proportional representation, so a Green vote means more Green MEPs - it's not a wasted vote.
Got my polling card and know where I've got to go to vote. Haven't finalised who I'm going to vote for, but Greens stand a good chance of getting my vote.
Something that is annoying about these elections is that a lot of the parties seem to be basing their campaign for election to the European Parliament around policies that would actually be UK Parliament things. It's almost like they think we're idiots.
Now that's where I have a problem. I've lived in 4 different towns/cities in the last 5 year's so I actually have no idea where I'm registered, it's a shame really I was looking forward to officially forgetting to vote again
Sure you're not registred in bristol?
