It's hard having to choose between different charities - how do you prioritise which issues are the ones that need dealing with? Like, you want to help the developing world to actually develop, but then there's so many issues closer to home varying from the basic stuff of homelessness to the maintaining of our rights online to making sure the government doesn't let some bastard frack under our homes. I dunno. I guess this is part of the reason that people often don't give regularly to charities - cos it makes them feel like they're prioritising this one issue over every other issue in the world.

St. Mungo's. They get no NHS support.

I think most people pick a cause they have a particular emotional connection to, especially when it comes to things like cancer research or animal rescue things. Me? I'm raising money for Northampton General Hospital by dancing on stage tomorrow. If anyone wants to donate to that, they can do it at http://www.justgiving.com/Dominic-Houghton/ (and I hope you don't mind me plugging my cause in your comments section).
